Freshmen Orientation Night will be Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00 p.m.  The event will be held at Pike Central High School in the Vance Hays Auditorium.  The agenda will include:  Pathways Books - courses offered, Discussion of Diploma Tracks, Several Elective Courses, Athletic Questions-NCAA requirements, Support Groups-Directions, 21st Century, End of Course Assessments, Attendance-Parent Expectations, General Rules and Let us answer your questions.

Applications for the Riley Dance marathon are available from Mrs. Bohnert and Mrs. Vinnedge.  The dance Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 22nd from 4-10 p.m.  Applications are due to Mrs. Vinnedge or Mrs. Bohnert by Friday, April 7th.  You must pay your $25 entry fee when turning in your application.

**Parents will now be able to check the balances and history of their child's lunch accounts.  Parents will also be able to make payments but there is a fee involved.  The fee cost will be shared later.  Go to www.myschoolbucks.com.  Literature is available in the Cafeteria for PCHS and PCMS students.  It does not cost anything to create an account and check lunch balances.  Parents are more than welcome to go ahead and create an account.

Parents, you may access your student's grades online using our student information system INOW.  Students and parents each have login information available.  Parent logins allow parents to see multiple children with one user name.  Please contact your child's school for your login information.  Access to INOW can be found on the lower left portion of this website.

Athletic Links

The Athletic Department will no longer be doing athletic packets.  Parents will be required to click the link below to register your children.  You will be filling out the code of conduct, medical form and concussion forms.  The physical form is the only paperwork that cannot be done online.  If you have any questions, contact the Athletic Dept. at 812-354-8478 ext. 331 or ext. 317.

The Lady Charger Swimmers broke another record over the weekend. The team of Natalie Bohnert, Quinn Bailey, Brittany Young and Maya Frederick broke the 200 Freestyle Relay record.
Congratulations to the Charger Swimmers for breaking three more records last night. Lukas Hill set a new 200 free record, Natalie Bohnert broke the 50 free record, and Chaney McKinney, Evan Marchino, Jacob Bohnert and Lukas Hill broke the 400 free record tonight.

Congratulations to the Charger Swimmers on setting more records!  Natalie Bohnert lowered her IM record by another second and the girls 400 free relay team of Brittany Young, Quin Bailey, Maya Frederick and Natalie Bohnert set a new school record.  Great job!
The Pep Band traveled to Silver Creek High School on January 7th to participate in their first ever Pep Band competition.  Pike Central placed 2nd in their class along with tying for Best Entertainment in the class.  The also tied for first in overall entertainment for the whole day.  Great job Pep Band & Mr. Ashworth!

Congratulations to Colton White & Bryant Nalley on being named to the 2016 Graber Post Buildings Classic All Tournament Team.  Bryant Nalley was also awarded the FCA Character Counts Award.  This award is awarded to a player who displays the FCA Values of Integrity-Serving-Teamwork-Excellence in the Classroom-Athletics & Community.

Pike Central's Business Professionals of America chapter had an exciting day at their Regional Conference on December 10th, with 9 students advancing to the State conference, to be held in March in Indianapolis.
